An 19th Century Italian Desk with Beautiful Detail

About the Item

An exceptionally beautiful Italian writing table with three drawers and a leather top pull-out writing surface. The desk is constructed in a walnut, with a lighter secondary wood. Beautifully crafted, the desk features exquisite neoclassical motif marquetry decoration on the top and sides, and a marquetry pattern around the entire top as well as on the drawer fronts. A truly special piece with understated elegance that has developed a rich time-worn patina.
