An attractive Italian 19th century Oak trestle table/desk

About the Item

An attractive Italian 19th century Oak trestle table/desk. The honey colored Oak table is raised by slanted pierced supports with scrolled designs and a bottom central 'Fleur de Lys' shape. The two legs are joined by two scalloped stretchers. At the frieze displays one long drawer with two outer recessed panels with mottled trim borders to simulate as if there were two drawers. At the center of each panel is a central circular turned knob. The rectangular top displays a wonderful and rich patina with wonderful grain.
