About the Item

A super quality 19th century satinwood ladies writing table in the Sheraton style, having a shaped superstructure with two short over one long oak lined drawers with original turned wooden knob handles, the base section having a single drawer with original brass handles, that pulls out to reveal slide that has a green leather writing surface decorated with gold and blind tooling, this can slide back to reveal a large compartment space, the right hand of the drawer has a secret drawer that pulls out to reveal various compartments, supported on square tapering legs united by a shaped shelf, Circa 1890.
