19th Century Side Table with Frieze Drawer and Baluster Turned Legs

About the Item

An absolutely charming 19th century Baroque style French side table, crafted from walnut and featuring exquisitely baluster turned and tapering legs, and a beautifully curved X-form stretcher with central urn finial. This petite desk has a polished, rectangular top panel with a decorative ogee edge, above a single, wide frieze drawer adorned with a brass handle. The highly polished wood has a wonderfully aged patina, which particularly emphasises the grain of the walnut. The table is perfectly sized to suit just about any room from a hallway to a bedroom.
