20th Century French Art Deco large Oak Vintage Office Desk / Writing Table
About the Item
An original and unique French kneehole two-tone desk crafted from hand-carved oak and elevated on eight fluted toupie feet. It features a central drawer and two doors, with one side door unveiling a frieze of three drawers arranged in a stepped formation, while the other side provides a single shelf. The intricate beautifully hand-carved detailing showcases a foliate motif, and the drawers and doors are adorned with nickel bronze hardware.
With its expansive surface area, this freestanding desk offers a substantial and robust workspace, making it ideal for various working needs.
The shaped top has some small scratches and circular marks, old repairs, uneven tonality with faded and darker areas within the grain. While this desk exhibits some signs of age and use, it's condition remains true to its authentic and vintage charm.
