20th Century Italian Mahogany Writing Table - Vintage Desk by Vittorio Dassi
About the Item
A freestanding, half rounded vintage Mid-Century modern Italian writing table made of hand crafted shellac polished, party veneered Mahogany and Rosewood, designed by Vittorio Dassi in good condition. The floating top is composed with its original black glass which is supported in the center by an arched frame. The desk is consisting on each side two drawers, the middle consists a large storage space, shelf particularized with their polished brass hardware and keys. The office table is standing on four slightly slanted wooden legs which are inserted into brass cups. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950 - 1960, Italy.
