Adjustable Pine Desk + Dining Table Attributed to Ole Pira & Kurt Hafeli
About the Item
A 1970s architectural desk or dining table attributed to Ole Pira & Kurt Hafeli for Laukaan Puu. This Mid-Century Modern piece features an angular pine wood base with rectangular block legs, wide feet, and stretcher accents. Each leg is adjustable, allowing for the height of the desk to be adjusted between 27” and 40.25”. The warm, natural pine base contrasts beautifully with the white laminate surface. Finland, 1970s.
Condition: Good overall vintage condition. Light wear and scuffs along the edges of the wood frame that align with age and use. The laminate surface displays minor scratches, as shown in photos. Previously damaged dowels have been repaired by our team of restorationists.
