Aksel Bender Madsen and Ejner Larsen Teak Partners' Desk, 1957 made by Willy Beck Cabinetmaker, Denmark the planked top on turned spindle legs united by tapering supports to the centre, fitted two locking drawers to each side 73cm high, 186cm wide, 83cm deep brass manufacturer's label to underside 'Produced by Cabinet Maker Willy Beck Copenhagen Denmark / Architects: A. Bender Madsen and Ejner Larsen' Literature: Grete Jalk ed., Dansk Mobelkunst Gennem 40 Aar 1957-1966, vol 3., 1987 pp.358-359 Designed in 1956, an example of this model was presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition at Design Museum Denmark that year. In very good condition.
