About the Item
An outstanding antique Edwardian inlaid walnut desk / writing table. This was made in England, it dates from the 1900-1910 period.
It is of amazing quality and has an absolutely gorgeous design. The top has a breakfront shape with curved back corners, grooved edges and an inset black leather writing surface. There are three drawers with beautiful inlaid designs and brass ring pull handles, the drawers have fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. This stands on finely tapered legs terminating in brass casters, the back is also nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
