Antique French Napoleon III writing desk, made of mahogany wood, covered with remarkable marquetry veneers and finely detailed ornate mounted brass ormolu. This exceptional desk features its original dark brown leather top, elegantly embossed with gold leaf trim. This desk also features three drawers with the center drawer having a working lock and key. This stunning piece also features a top encompassed by a detailed brass molded edge, eye catching bronze mounted accents, pulls, and elegant inlaid marquetry throughout.
This handsome French writing desk is being offered as is, in its completely original vintage condition. It is solid, sturdy, and ready to be used in any home or office for years to come.
