This is an antique ladies writing desk. An English, mahogany correspondence or side table, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1870.
Beautifully presented desk with fine craftsmanship

Gently tiered top adorned to the rear with a low back rest
Pair of wide drawers set within the fascia, dressed with circular pulls
