About the Item
French antique Louis XV style bureau plat desk made of rosewood that has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish finish of museum-quality. The desk has the original brown leather top, embossed with a gold leaf frieze. There are three dovetailed drawers all richly adorned with bronze pulls. The curved legs are also adorned with bronzes. The top is trimmed with brass. It is in excellent antique condition – the photos accurately depict the condition.
