Antique, high-quality large circa 1900 inlaid mahogany kidney-shaped JAS Shoolbred twin pedestal desk, suitable for use as a dressing or writing table. It boasts a delightful age, color, and patina.
This piece is solidly constructed, with no loose joints or signs of woodworm, exuding age, character, and charm. The oak-lined drawers glide smoothly.
A rare, captivating, and imposing piece, featuring an original beautifully patinated and worn brown leather skiver.
Overall maximum dimensions: 126cmW x 67cmD (max) x 74cmH x 59cmH knee hole.
In very good antique condition, exhibiting minor historical knocks, marks, imperfections, repairs, and alterations, all typical of functional antique furniture. It does not come with a key, and the locks are untested.
