Antique Swedish Genuine Desk with Original Paint from the Gustavian Period

About the Item

Antique Swedish gustavian desk from the gustavian period. The desk is in original untouched condition with the original, first layer of paint. Made by hand in northern Sweden around 1820 with a frame in solid pine. Straight tapered legs and an apron with a carved fluted decor. A singular drawer at the centre. The table top itself has been well used and the paint has worn off after 200 years of use. Healthy and stable frame. Height to the apron is 60.5 cm.
