Art Deco cubist desk and armchair – France 1930
About the Item
Art Deco cubist desk and armchair in solid wood with bird’s-eye maple veneer and boxwood bindings, resting on a solid black wood base. Spectacular 4-door desk opening onto compartments, two of which have shelves, the third has 4 drawers and an empty compartment. Three shelves on the visitor’s side. The original brown leather of desk mat, like the leather of the armchair, has been completely restored. This set is of an extraordinary quality. French polish. Nickel-plated brass keys. Desk can be dismantled.
