About the Item

A Biedermeier period walnut desk from the mid-19th century, with three drawers and blond patina. Created in Austria during the second quarter of the 19th century, this Biedermeier walnut table features a rectangular top sitting above three dovetailed drawers, each accented with an ebonized diamond-shaped keyhole. The ensemble is raised on four tapered legs while the distance from the floor to the apron is 24.5" H. With its clean lines and lovely patina, this Biedermeier writing table circa 1840 will bring a touch of calm elegance to any living room, study or bedroom.
