About the Item

Beautiful, unique desk, and sculptural desk designed by Angelo Mangiarotti. Angelo Mangiarotti (* February 26, 1921 in Milan; † June 30, 2012) was an Italian industrial designer and architect. He studied at the Politecnico di Milano until 1948. From 1953 to 1954 he was a visiting lecturer in design at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago, and returned to Milan, where he had an office with Bruno Morassutti from 1955 to 1960. He worked as a design consultant for various companies. In 1960 Angelo Mangiarotti joined the Associazone per il Disegno Industriale and founded his own office.
