Biedermeier (19th Century) globe-form work desk with a mahogany structure that opens to reveal a several small compartments, with parcel gilt and ebonized detail, with applied lions' head decorations at the top of each leg and a brass artichoke finial, resting on three ebonized incurved legs attached to a triangular base with gilt paw feet.
