About the Item

Small Biedermeier writing desk in walnut, raised on tapered square legs with brass sabots and casters. The desk features a central drawer with a large circular brass escutcheon and lock. The writing surface is covered in black felt and bordered on three sides by a narrow gallery. Below sits a shelf with a concave cut-out for comfortable seating. Two additional small drawers are set into the sides of the apron.
