Biedermeier Writing Table, circa 1830
About the Item
Biedermeier desk crafted from walnut, featuring gracefully curved legs and a baluster-shaped central stretcher. The desk offers ample storage with five drawers and an expandable writing surface that extends to a maximum length of 240 cm using the rounded side flaps. Each drawer is lockable and comes with its own key. The back of the desk is designed to correspond with the front, making it suitable for placement in the center of a room. The desk has been professionally restored and hand-polished, enhancing its warm luster and the natural beauty of the walnut wood.
