Concrete table/ desk designed by Sergio and Giorgio Saporiti. Italy, 1972

About the Item

The SAPO table, designed with a concrete base and hardened Glass top, attached by two chromed bolts. The concrete base shows a beautiful imprint of the wooden mould it was made from. The mix of raw concrete and glass is absolutely fantastic. Saporiti Italia has produced some of the most sophisticated and advanced pieces of furniture in the history of Italian design, starting in the 1950s. This is one of them! Condition: Excellent condition with minor marks on the glass.
