About the Item

This desk in solid elmwood has been made by the French company Ebenisterie Seltz situated in the eastern part of the country which has been widely known for producing certain designs by Pierre Chapo during the 1970's and 1980's. Chapo chose to have his designs produced by Seltz because of the excellence and high quality of their craftsmanship of solid wood furniture This sculptural curved desk is entirely made in solid elmwood. The sleek boomerang shaped top sits pivots on the drawer cabinet and can be oriented according to the needs. The top sits on a nicely carved out and gently curved base as well on a massive two drawer cabinet which stabilizes the desk with its weight. This sleek organically shaped yet contemporary desk in solid elmwood features highly practical attributes and is real gem in any well curated interior.
