Dança Desk
About the Item
The Desk Dança is a reinterpretation of the work “A Dança” by Henri Matisse, one of the most innovative artists of the century. XX. It is believed that the idea for the composition arose in 1905, while the painter observed some fishermen performing a round dance, the sardana, on a beach in the South of France.
Its base structure alludes to the bodies present in the work. The spheres were used to provide movement to the piece and, at the same time, reproduction. The intention was to recreate all this soul present in the work, bringing a rhythmic pattern, colors and harmony through a fluid and organic design.
