Desk By Matteo Grassi - Leather - Ca 1980

About the Item

Very rare executive desk designed and published by Matteo Grassi. It is an exceptional piece, almost unique, entirely crafted in green leather on the exterior and black leather on the interior. This desk was published in the 1980s, at the peak of the work of Italian designer Matteo Grassi, a sheather by trade. The desk presents a pure, radical and flexible line at the same time. The green leather top has a black leather working part reminiscent of the interior of the office and the structure of the box. This same top is beveled on both edges. The leather of the top is patinated, it has stains, scratches, blending into the leather without disturbing its aesthetics. The topstitching on the leather is of very high quality. This desk on four very original, slightly shiny circular metal legs with a diameter of 10cm. The proportions are perfectly harmonious, the total length is 184cm while the width is half that, or 92cm. A small plastic drawer opens like a belt, typical of the 1980s. Please contact me for delivery!
