Directoire-Style Bureau Plat Desk
About the Item
Directoire/Napoleon III style desk composed of one large center and two side dovetailed drawers. The right drawer has a divided back section with an inset tray and a horizontal panel that slides over the top of the section to lock (no key). Brass detailing includes escutcheons for drawer locks (no key), knobs and capped feet. Large red and tooled gilt leather insert on top. Knobs for center drawer included but not pictured.
