Located in Atlanta, GA
A Swedish falu painted trestle table from the early 19th century. This antique table from Sweden has an overall oval-shaped top (with straight edges at each longer side) which is supported by trestle end supports, and canted wood stretchers down it's underside-center. This table retains it's original red "falu" or "falun" paint, a historical color of Swedish furniture, originating from the various copper mines in the region, most notable the mine at Falun, in the province of Dalarna. This table knocks down completely flat, making for easy transport and moving. Please note that if wooden pins are not tightly secured, the top may wobble.
