About the Item

A rare ebony British Colonial desk with two reeded drawer fronts, reeded sides and reeded, tapered legs. It has a dark green leather inserted top. The desk has a clearance of 24" from the floor to the bottom of the drawers. Handsome and elegant and rare to find this exotic hardwood. Refinished from the early 1900's. The Lockhart Collection is a personally curated gallery of antiques and fine jewelry, owned and operated by Deborah Lockhart Phillips. The antiques and vintage pieces encompass Nautical Artifacts & Instruments, Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern Furniture and Lighting, British Campaign furniture, and of course the finds that simply defy being categorized.
