About the Item

This is a unique piece of furniture with a multiplicity of uses. It could be a desk or a ladies vanity. The desk is made entirely of satinwood, one of the rarest and most expensive woods in the world and wedgewood plaques of winged cherubs or putti and unfortunately they are dmaged but still, after over 100 years they retain so much charm. The desk measures 34 tall x 31.5 wide x 16.75 and dates from 1900-1910. We can help with shipping to the ground floor or elevator buildings if requested prior to checkout: For customers that require professional insured delivery and at a reduced cost, we are proud to have teamed up with a nationwide professional delivery company that will assist with coordinating your delivery needs! They offer a reasonable flat-rate fee for delivery and set up to the ground floor of your home. They deliver to the vast majority of the lower 48 states.
