Executive Desk By Poul Norreklit for Georg Petersen Møbelfabrik in Denmark

About the Item

Poul Nørreklit desk model GP 160 by Georg Petersens Møbelfabrik, Denmark This is a rare and collectible lucite and rosewood desk. Lucite slab sides with beautifully grained Rosewood case, lucite spacers, aluminum drawer fronts, and nickeled brass pulls. An unusual and modern mix of materials for danish design predates the American lucite craze of the early 1970s. This piece feels so postmodern for a Danish modern piece. It is an amazing size and has great presence. This is a statement piece for an office or for a home office. The lucite is in great original condition and we have restored the rosewood.
