This desk is the finest quality, its made from cuts of Flamed Mahogany which have been bleached from new and French polished this golden brown colour, the desk frame is fully mounted with polished brass corners all over, flat faced campaign handles to the front and back and oversized campaign handles to the sides, these cupboard doors have faux drawer panels to the front so the desk looks the same both sides
The front of the desk has two drawers in the middle of the pedestals which are large filing drawers, all others are standard on this side, to the back of the desk you have three normal drawers to the top and two large cupboards in either pedestal, these
The desk has some kind of locking system through the top drawer, I think from memory you push a level down and it locks all the pedestal drawers in place
Condition wise is perfect to my eyes and hands, it has a normal aged patina which adds to the antique look and feel
Please note this desk is one solid piece, it does not split into three pieces
