A fine French faux bamboo escritoire or writing table desk, c.1870-1910, featuring a fitted (and removable) top tier secretary cupboard with gallery top and finials over a frieze of six framed drawers. Set upon a moulded top writing surface with decorative faux bamboo accents over a frieze of two framed drawers flanking a center escutcheon, and resting on turned legs.
