About the Item

This is a spectacular hand-paint decorated satinwood Carlton House desk with beautifully painted cherubs and musical instruments, flowers and figures. The desk is in its original finish with some signs of age and use including minor losses to the paint and signs of age and wear to the leather writing surface but it is a real gem for sure regardless. The desk measures 50.75 wide x 27.75 deep x 37.75 tall. The desk is from the 1890-1910 era.
