Fine Tall Inlaid Dark Mahogany English Carlton House Two-Piece Secretary Desk
About the Item
This is a very rare form of desk. The desk is inlaid in the Carlton House tradition and features stained veneers and a dark mahogany backdrop with a mirrored back behind spindles. the desk is in two pieces and is entirely original and will show minor signs of age and wear as years and time provide. Measures 57/75 tall x 38 wide x 22.75 deep. Dates to the 1890s-1910 era and is English.
