About the Item
This is a spectacular fully restored and French-polished inlaid marquetry inlaid mixed woods French marquetry Desk or library table. The desk has been painstakingly French-polished with shellac for the most luxurious finish money can buy. The bronze has been professionally polished and reveals its original gold Dore' finish and it looks like it would have when it was new. The desk is is extremely good condition. The desk dates to the 1890s and is a true work of art.
