French Bureau plat / desk in Louis XV, Paris, circa 1880.
Solid beech wood veneer. Extremely fine, floral bronze fittings.
Cambered and pronounced / arched wooden body. Four-sided curved frame base.
3 drawers and a wide knee compartment on elegantly curved square legs ending in sabots. Slightly protruding, profiled table top and gold-embossed, high-quality leather insert (real leather).
