French Directoire Secrétaire á Abattant

About

French antique secretary bureau is made of merisier (prune wood). It has a Provincial Directoire drop front, one top and two bottom drawers. Main drawers and desktop lock with same key. Original hardware, late 18th-early 19th century. The writing surface is lined with leather. The interior has two shelves and five interior drawers. Wonderful wood patina.
