French Provincial Cherry Writing Table or Bedside Table with Drawer, circa 1800

About the Item

French Provincial cherry table with cabriole legs that has mortise and tenon construction and wood peg fasteners. A beautiful late 18th century or early 19th century table left in it original condition and finish with all of the charm and character of its age. The drawer works, the table is mechanically solid and has an original knob. Perfect as a writing desk or a bedside table Note: You should always request a shipping quote.     Repaired: Frame joints were cleaned and reglued. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Original condition and finish. All imperfections that are a result of age were left as is. Table joinery is tight and drawer works. We had to add a back to the drawer because it was missing.
