Grain-Painted English Pine Kneehole Desk from Collection of Michael S. Smith

About the Item

Grain-painted English pine kneehole desk, probably late 19th century, from the collection of Michael S. Smith. This is a well constructed desk with generous storage/shelving. Outside finish is in original grain-painted finish. It sits higher than the average desk. Please note height. A slightly higher desk chair would be appropriate to go with it. The desk has three drawers, two doors with shelving on either side and a pull-out writing surface just above the central drawer. Original interior hinge hardware is visible from photos. Measures: 50" W X 21 3/4" D X 33 1/2" H.
