Slash Objects is an award-winning design studio based in New York City. Our work is rooted in a fascination with materials and how they are brought together. The Gem table features a calacatta marble tabletop supported with brass finish legs.
The irregular shape allows the table to have a different appearance from each angle. The geometrical shape of the tabletop is enhanced with the gold veining of the marble. The brass legs are an extension of the marble top, reflecting the space and allowing the marble to levitate above.
There is no hardware used to hold the piece together, rather precision fitting and engineering allows for the parts to rely upon one another to exist.
