I Do desk from the Alexandre Arrechea SoShiro collaboration

About the Item

'I do' is a desk made of pear wood and aluminium as part of Alexandre Arrechea and SoShiro’s collaborative Layers collection. It is inspired by the installation CHAOS, which communicates messages in the digital-like lettering often associated with retro LCD technologies. Like the typeface, there are aesthetical themes of symmetry, luminosity, and simplicity. A sense of playfulness can be extended to the messages 'I do' and 'do I', which emphasize open-ended questioning.
