Important French Brass Inlaid Paint Decorated Rolltop Ladies Writing Desk

The lock of this desk is stamped with the crossed key logo of Vachette Freres, which only made locks for the best French ebenistes and furniture makers. The desk is a work of art with gorgeous paintings of courtship scenes and fantastic brass inlay and galleries surrounding the shelves. This is a wonderful desk and may be Maison Forest or Maison Kreiger. The desk measures 58 tall x 31 wide x 19 inches deep.
