This two-desk series is made from Italian, 18th century pinus cembra, harvested from the Varaita Valley, and Italian sourced steel. All surfaces have been treated with linseed oil.

Enrico Marone Cinzano
Enrico Marone Cinzano has made a career of pushing boundaries and questioning how design can affect the environment and society. Enrico embarked on his collection of ethical furniture in 2011. Inspired by Nature and its inherent balance, he sought out to fully integrate sustainability and artful design to create structural and sculptural products. His body of work blends art and function with locally sourced salvaged materials that undergo rigorous standards of construction and craftsmanship. Designer and entrepreneur Enrico Marone Cinzano was born in Turin, Italy in 1963. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Babson College in 1983. Following a career and finance and real estate development, in 2001, he co-founded sustainable fashion label Project Alabama , serving as co-creative director until 2007. Project alabama was critically acclaimed, going on to receive a nomination for the 2005 from New York's Cooper-Hewitt Museum and was named a finalist for the CGDA/Vogue fashion fund award. Following the Enrico began to design a collection of sculptural, nature-inspired furniture in 2012 utilizing local, sustainable materials. The eponymous ethical collection is rooted in a respect for ecology, enduring craftsmanship, and principled consumption. Enrico collaborates with independent fabricators and craftsmen in Italy, United Kingdom,United States and China.
