Italian Marquetry Walnut Burl Secretary Slant Front Desk Writing Table
About the Item
Very elegant Italian desk, writing table, with slant drop front, with the beautiful light and dark wood inlay decors in classic figures all around the piece and the amazing bronze sculptures on the legs. When opened we find the writing area in red leather with gilt decor frame, three nicely carved and worked drawers and a sliding opening to a bottom extra space. This beautiful piece is completed by all surrounding antique brass frames, keylock and handles and is standing on four classic saber legs where we find the great decorative sculptures and brass finals. This desk will bring a touch of antique craftsmanship refinement to any office, bedroom or living room and can be used either against the wall as well free standing given the nicely finished back side.
