Jules Deroubaix Art Deco Writing in Burled Elm and Gilt Bronze France circa 1935

$28,000

About

Burled elm, original gilt bronze sabots. Jules Deroubaix was the best craftsman of Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann. The pieces made after Ruhlmann's passing are often reminiscent of Ruhlmann's designs and often bear his attributes. Our desk, together with the vanity and stool, were created for an extremely refined bathroom in a residence on the outskirts of Paris.
