Fantastic midcentury waterfall desk or writing table. The desk features a lacquered finish hand-painted in parchment or goatskin style. No makers mark, however the style and manner is that of Karl Springer and Enrique Garcel both of whom made pieces in this medium. The case has gracefully bowed sides and two storage drawers on the front. The lacquered finish has a beautifully aged and faded patina that further enhances the goatskin parchment finish. From an estate in Malibu, CA.
