About the Item
A large handsome English partner's double pedestal desk of mahogany, from the Edwardian era, featuring a moulded top inset with an embossed tan leather, over a frieze with one beaded long drawer flanked by two beaded short drawers on opposing sides.
Resting on two pedestals over a central kneehole area, one side with three beaded short drawers on each pedestal and the opposing side with two cabinet doors opening to cupboards with one interior fitted shelf.
All the drawers featuring turned knob pulls and escutcheons. The whole with paneled back and sides, on raised plinths and rolling casters.
Designed to be used by two people simultaneously, with drawers and storage accessible from both sides.
