Large Victorian 16-Drawer Double Sided Twin Pedestal Partner Desk Brown Leather

About the Item

We are delighted to this large Victorian twin pedestal 16 drawer 4 sliding work shelf, double sided Mahogany partner desk with brown leather top This desk is a good large size, it’s a lot deeper than normal hence its originally designed as you can see for two people to share, it’s rare to find one with all 8 drawers to both sides and even rarer for each side to have duel sliding work shelves, usually it would be cupboards and 12 drawers in total This piece is period Victorian handmade in England from solid mahogany, it has the original premium brown leather top which has extensive gold leaf embossing, the drawers are all fully functional and use the entire space of the frame We have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, the timber will have normal age related patina marks here and there, the brown surface as well, it’s been touch up in three places The desk dismantles into three easy to transport piece Dimensions Height 76.5 cm Width 152.5 cm Depth 120 cm Legroom Height 58.5 cm Width 64 cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
