About the Item

Neoclassical desk from northern Sweden. The desk or table is in pine and from circa 1790. Original condition. Original and distressed paint from the late 1700s with marks of wear, see pictures. The desk is decorated with a horizontal ribbed decor all around the centre, including the large drawer. Straight and tapered legs with fluted decor. Healthy and solid frame. Measures: Height to rim is 57 cm.
