Late 19th Century French Mahogany Louis XV Style Desk Bureau Plat
About the Item
A late 19th century French 'bureau plat' or writing desk, each pedestal with two drawers and standing on elegant cabriole legs with ormolu feet, and united by and 'x' stretcher. Finished beautifully all 'round, the top edge with bold solid brass trim and retaining the original tooled leather top.
