Lou Hodges-Style Oak Desk / Dining Table

About the Item

Oak butcher block style dining table/desk. Completely solid construction, no veneers, circa 1970s, heavyweight piece. Clean lines, simple minimalist form, with all of the heft and construction of an heirloom piece. Lou Hodges look and style, California Minimalist Modernist piece. Chairs are shown for styling in this listing; and are available in another of our listings. This table will comfortably function as a desk or small dining table for up to four. We have styled as many as six chairs with the table, which was snug, but does work with a petite chair profile. 48”W x 30”D x 29.5”H Table shows light age wear and has not been refinished. We would be happy to refinish it prior to shipping by request. Many of our clients seek out a natural patina, so we often maintain the original state of certain pieces where we feel the wear enhances the overall look and feel.
